About K-tip Extensions
K-Tips are tiny, keratin-bonded extensions that are individually fused to your natural hair using heat for 360 movement. They’re nearly invisible, super lightweight, and perfect for adding fullness—especially around the face. They're often used together with weft extensions to create a seamless, blended look where the wefts can’t quite reach.

What to expect—Beaded Wefts?
Your sew-in extension journey begins with a one-on-one consultation where we chat about your hair goals, color match, and desired length to create the most natural look.We’ll also go over pricing options based on how many wefts you’ll need for your desired length, so you know exactly what to expect before moving forward.
During the install, I’ll build a secure, comfortable base using silicone-lined beads before sewing in high-quality, 100% human hair wefts. Once everything’s in place, I custom-cut and blend your extensions for a seamless, effortless finish that moves like your own hair. Before you leave, I’ll also share a few products, and styling tips—including easy, go-to looks for those low-maintenance or lazy days—so you feel confident wearing your extensions every day, not just on wash day.
Maintenance
To keep your extensions looking and feeling their best, move-ups are needed every
5-12 weeks
Each appointment starts with a quick check-in about how your extensions have been feeling so we can make any needed adjustments. I’ll gently remove the wefts and beads, detangle your hair, and clean up any shed hair. If color is part of your visit, we’ll do that here—along with any needed extension toning.
You can also upgrade to an Extension Wash Day Experience, which includes a scalp scrub, massage, deep conditioner for your wefts and blowout.
Once prepped, I’ll rebuild your beaded foundation and sew your extensions back in, placing each section with comfort and blend in mind. We’ll finish with your preferred style, so you leave feeling fresh and confident all over again.

What to Expect~Temporary Wefts
Clip-ins use secure, discreet clips for easy application and removal, while halo extensions feature an almost invisible wire that rests comfortably on your head for a natural, blended look. Tape in wefts can last up to month with good care.
At your extension consultation, we’ll start by finding your perfect color match to ensure everything blends as naturally as possible. Together, we’ll choose the right length—typically 18” or 22”—based on your goals and lifestyle.
If your extensions need any custom coloring to match your hair seamlessly, I’ll take care of that ahead of your fitting. Once your temporary wefts arrive, we’ll schedule your installation.
During your fitting, I’ll guide you through every step—checking for comfort, securing the wefts, and shaping the cut so everything flows naturally with your own hair. Before you leave, I’ll walk you through how to care for and style your new hair at home, so you feel confident from the start.
Because Halos and Clip-Ins are made to be taken out daily, they don’t need as much washing as sew-ins—making them a super low-maintenance way to change up your look anytime. To keep them feeling soft and looking fresh between wears, a little care goes a long way.

What to Expect ~ K-TIPS
K-Tips are tiny keratin bonds that blend seamlessly into your natural hair for lightweight, flexible movement. At Missmehairco, I offer K-Tips only as a hybrid service — paired with another extension method for the most natural, customized result.
Each install is billed at $100/hour, with timing depending on the amount of hair and customization needed. Most hybrid installs take 2.5–4 hours to complete.
This method is ideal for adding fullness around the hairline, filling in finer areas, or blending multiple extension types for a completely seamless look.
K-Tip hair typically lasts 3–5 months before needing to be replaced, depending on your hair growth and at-home care routine. Because K-Tips are not reusable, fresh hair is installed at each appointment.
Most hybrid applications include 10–50 K-Tips
